Concept to Production = Flexible Manufacturing,

One major cost and headache for a desire solution is the manufacturing aspect. How to keep costs down while at the same time ensure the conceptual idea works in mass production? With EVB, the answer is its semi-automated manufacturing process, which permits the flexibility of running a conceptual batch run to test the design and review for the unknown risks associated with the design. With a limited batch production, the financial risk derived from those unknowns is lessened as the amount of capital at risk is comparatively small to a full batch production. Additionally, the limited batch run permits beta testing of the design in house or with the said final customer. Upon approval, the same manufacturing line can be optimized for full batch production, thus lowering the overall cost per a cell in the project.
